In the Rothschild courtyard, Elena sneaked around, swaying left and right, trying to slip out unnoticed.
But Barrette anticipated this and had increased the number of people on duty, so Elena had not gone far before several servants blocked her path.
"Miss, the master has ordered that you cannot go out recently, please go back!" the servant persuaded.
"Damn it, you dare to stop me?" Elena tried to look fierce, threatening, "I'll have Dad fire you!"
However, the servants didn't take her seriously at all and stood their ground, "Miss, if we let you out, we'd be the ones getting fired!"
The kind of person Elena was, everyone at the Rothschild's knew; although she had been pampered from a young age and had a bit of a princess attitude, her heart was good, and she would never speak ill of them behind their backs.
"Miss, please don't make it difficult for us, just go back."
"This is so annoying, when can I go out then?" Elena said discontentedly.
