Before he could speak, Liu Zheng probably guessed what he wanted to say.

Originally, the Dean was considering how to best phrase his request, not expecting Liu Zheng to be so direct.
This genuinely surprised him.
But he quickly recovered, nodding fervently and eagerly.
"Yes, we really are in need of someone with your talents, and we truly hope you will join us. You can name your own salary and terms; I am likely to agree to anything. A talent like you is exactly what everyone is vying for," the Dean said.
It was clear he was excited.
But Liu Zheng had his own thoughts.
With all these directors around, for the Dean to speak to him in such terms showed just how much he valued him.
