Wang Daniu had been unconscious for nearly seven days and nights before he slowly came to his senses. As he opened his eyes, his first sight was of Nuwa, the goddess, seated beside him.
The always dignified and respected Nuwa now looked no different from any ordinary woman, watching over Wang Daniu like a common wife tending to her husband.
Seeing Wang Daniu wake up, Nuwa's face lit up with joy. She picked up the teacup from the table, fed Wang Daniu, and then asked with concern, "Da Niu, how are you feeling?"
"Do you feel uncomfortable anywhere?"
"Uncomfortable?" Wang Daniu looked at Nuwa puzzled, completely forgetting the incident when he lost control and lashed out.
