"Who said my son and Ming Yue are through?"
Mother Xu directly interrupted her, clearly still feeling sore about the subject.
To try and dig at her son's prospects right in front of her, Mother Xu was none too pleased.
"Your son... doesn't he already have a girlfriend?" The woman was taken aback, her gaze towards her somewhat bewildered.
How could she still be looking elsewhere while eating from her own bowl?
"This is our own business, no need for you to worry."
Mother Xu turned to go upstairs.
Seeing this, the woman also stopped talking about Yao Mingyue and shifted her attention to other targets.
"Don't be in such a rush, look at my boy, about to graduate from college and yet he still hasn't found a partner. Any of those girls without partners, how about you introduce them?"
The woman changed the subject, having noticed a couple of outstanding girls earlier, thinking her son would be lucky to snag any one of them.
