In the afternoon,
Xu Musen and Yao Mingyue arrived at the familiar stopping point,
right next to the scenic area where they had fallen into icy water.
Now, in the midst of summer, the vast inland lake sparkled, and although it was not as magnificent as the sea, the surrounding mountains and the widespread greenery lent it a unique charm.
At the same time, this was where their relationship had quietly begun to change.
"Let's rest here,"
Xu Musen drove into the hotel's parking lot.
"My back is so sore from sitting..."
Yao Mingyue shifted slightly in her seat. After sitting for most of the day, she felt as though she had fused with the chair.
She gently lifted her thigh and could feel the mark left by her skirt on the root of her thigh.
"I told you to lie in the back and you wouldn't, so you deserve it."
"Heh, you're talking like a hypocrite!"
Xu Musen ignored her.
It was just a leg anyway.
