Chen Yang received a call from Liu Zhiling just as he was about to land at the Dong'an military base.
"Zhiling, missing me?"
Chen Yang answered the call with a teasing smile.
However, no sooner had he finished speaking than a beeping sound came from the receiver, and the call was abruptly disconnected.
"Huh, are you playing with me?"
Chen Yang picked up the phone and called Liu Zhiling back.
"The number you have dialed is either switched off or out of the service area. Please try again later."
Switched off?
Out of battery?
Something's not right!
Chen Yang frowned and made several calls to the other women.
The calls all connected, but strangely, no one answered.
Suddenly, Chen Yang had an ominous feeling.
And it was getting stronger.
"I must hurry back to the courtyard; they can't be in trouble."
Chen Yang's face showed deep concern, and he did not land the plane but instead turned around and headed straight for the courtyard.
