In China, searching for information about Oroñe Hotel mostly resulted in a 404 error. Therefore, Dai Lin had asked a doctor who had accessed the internet abroad about the seventh rule. There had been internet celebrities who entered the Oroñe Hotel wanting to see what would happen if the situation described in the rule—"hearing laughter without a source"—actually occurred, and how the hotel staff would react upon arrival.
