Dai Wei couldn't understand a word of the conversation between Kaman and Cary at this time; both were speaking in standard American English, and the little English that Dai Wei had learned was nowhere near enough for a normal conversation with native English speakers.

"What? Uncle Li, you're a doctor? But aren't you a carpenter?"
"Carpentry is just a side job. My main profession is a Paranormal Doctor."
