Jin Yunran and her colleague left the Abyss Blue Whale Coffee and after they parted ways, she headed to a nearby parking lot and got into her car.
The toiletries and change of clothes she needed to bring to her sister's house were all packed in the trunk of her car.
After fastening her seat belt, she turned on the navigation and started the car.
A while later, Jin Yunran made a phone call to her sister and then put on her Bluetooth earpiece to talk.
"Sis," Jin Yunran watched the traffic ahead and said, "There's a bit of a jam up front; I might arrive a bit late."
"No worries, take your time and drive safely." The voice on the other end of the phone was her sister's, and at first listen, one could really feel the similarity between the sisters' voices.
The sister's voice sounded much calmer.
"Okay, good. Sis, you and Yun Yi go ahead and eat dinner, don't wait for me. I had some cake at the coffee shop just now; I'm not hungry. It's the one near my company."
