After almost a week of refurbishing and sprucing up, all hardship had finally paid off. The once barren and bleak space had turned into an immaculately efficacious surrounding. I managed to produce an inviting and constructive result that even surpassed my expectations. Everything was spot on and properly in accordance to how I envisioned it to be. Des Souvenirs is now open to the public and functioning on its first day today.
Madame Francine was truly kind enough to even provide me with a free advertisement campaign near the shore line. A few tarpaulins were placed in some areas to introduce my shop to passersby and tourists. She even told me that if I were to need an assistant, someone who could be my aid, she could help me with one of her close relatives who was in search of work. I took note of the offer and informed her that I would get in touch with her if ever, but for the meantime since I am just starting with the business, I think I could manage it on my own.
