It had been a week, yet there wasn't any improvement with my search here in Nice. I met up with a police officer a few days ago and even headed back to the police station hoping for a positive result, but it was fruitless. Part of my mind was urging me to move to another city and try my luck there, but I decided to give myself a week more in this place.
I haven't reached the other side of the city yet, so that's my destination this afternoon. But before commencing, I drop a call to Raphael just as I planned the week before. I was relieved he answered my call after three rings.
"Gabriel! It's nice to hear from you! How have you been doing?"
"I have been busily occupied lately. Have I disturbed you?"
"No, not at all. What made you call?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure! What about?"
"You mentioned that I gave you a call if I am in need of your help, right? Well I badly needed one now.
