It was normal. Felt too normal. Not too hot and not too cold, not many bugs and insects flying around, the bustling sounds of the cars and motorcycles passing by, it was a pretty busy neighbourhood after all. A fellow is in his terrace, watching his cats play around and looking at the busy street. 'It's been so long since a day has finally became peaceful. I thought bad luck would play a game with me again.' The man sighed happily, he should have kept his guard up though.
After a few hours, he went back inside his home with the cats with him, he turns on his PC and plays a game he finally got to play; it was the perfect day to play it. It was the regular ol' fighting game that you'd always expect. He always had work to do so he couldn't really play games but he wish he didn't pay that much money to play such a horrible game.
'Was I scammed? The cover looked amazing, I see people leave good ratings, why did I spend my money on such garbage?!' The game was so ugly is was sickening. The graphics glitched everytime he tried to walk, the voice acting is terrible, the fighting was okay, but it was so glitchy due to the graphics. The storyline looked like it was written by a second grader, the female characters were also very sexualized which made him uncomfortable. It was set in a palace, historical themed. There were many mistakes in making the theme though, it was like a kindergartener plagarizing a story but adding inaccurate changes that will never make sense in a historical-themed story. 'I will never trust an ad ever again.'.
He closes the game without even finishing the fight scene because of how his eyes were burning from how unpleasant the graphics were and how tired his hands were after trying to fight something that's probably immortal.
"Kitty-kitty c'mon I have tuna~" The twenty-six year old pats the kitten's head gently. He went to switch on the light but then suddenly an electricity shock happens. He got electrocuted, and it hurt. It hurt a lot. He started to become light-headed and eventually fainted with the poor kitten in his hands, witnessing ever move. Though the kitty survived he unfortunately didn't wake up for quite a while.
Memories rush through his head. It was his memories flashing through his eyes. One was when he won a tennis game, another was when he got injected, and another was when he got circumzised. Though he really didn't need to remember his circumzision. He just stayed in a void with the memories flashing in his eyes, he starts to tear up. "What will happen to my kitties? My sister? My family? Why did that just happen so quickly?" He was balling his eyes out until a small and chubby creature went beside him. The creature started to rub on his arm, seeming like it was trying to comfort him. "I know how it feels." The creature told the man, it was an annoying high-pitched voice, but it was in a really comforting tone. The man started petting the creature, pretending it was his kitten while still crying. It was all too sudden, why did he have to die so young?
"Human, I know you're distraught but... Would you like to make a deal with me?" The human looks down at the creature and looks confused. "I will let you live many lives and you can get coins. With these coins, you can buy something that can help you get back to life. Right now, you're in a comatose state in earth; but this is a subspace and if you want to do it, make a deal with me and you can come back to life. If you don't want to, you will die. But for real." The man sluggishly stands up and nods. "I accept your offer." The creature looks up at him with a giant smile and snaps his fingers.
A contract suddenly appeared infront of the man's eyes. [Terms and conditions: Must obey missions or else punishments will occur. If you want to quit the contract, you are not allowed unless your employer allows you to. One must not be OOC or else punishment will occur.] The man stared at the contract and started questioning if it was really worth it. [To accept contract, the employee must press the box of accepting the terms and conditions. They must also shake the hand of their employer. Thank you.]
The man hesitated but eventually pressed the box. "Hello, new employee!" The creature cheefully flew to him and they shaked hands. "So what's your name?" Asked the creature. "It's Damien, what about yours?" Damien pointed at the creature. "Ah, just call me Seven; for I am the seventh system that had signed a contract with human!" The system laughed joyfully and patted on Damien's shoulder. [Contract:Signed. Thank you.] The system looked at the vibrant purple screen and looks at Damien. "Now, let's get this started."
