"Your Highness, here is the report on the mana stone you requested," Elrond said, his voice crisp and professional as he handed me the parchment.
I took it from him, my eyes scanning the contents as I asked, "Elrond, did you look into what I asked you?"
He nodded, his expression serious. "I did as you instructed, Your Highness. I asked around, and it seems that Lady Riona did indeed visit Duchess Anore."
I leaned forward, my eyes narrowing. "And was the duchess aware of Riona's visit?"
Elrond nodded again. "She was, apparently. Lady Riona visited her to heal her youngest."
I frowned, a faint memory stirring in the back of my mind. "Hmm... If I remember correctly, from what Duchess Anore told me, Riona met the duchess's youngest when she was running an errand." Does that mean there's something more to meet the eye?
I nodded, dismissing him. "You can leave now, Elrond."
