I stood before the majestic frost dragon, its eyes blazing with an otherworldly energy as the curse consumed its mind and soul. I knew it was a futile effort, but I had to try and reason with the beast, to appeal to whatever shred of sanity remained within its frozen heart.
"Great dragon, please," I implored, my voice steady and calm despite the turmoil that raged within me. "Be rational, and try to resist the curse's influence. If you continue on this rampage, it will bring only destruction and chaos to this land and its people. Please, listen to me."
I took a cautious step forward, my eyes locked onto the dragon's as I searched for any glimmer of recognition, any hint that my words were penetrating the curse's dark veil. But there was nothing. The dragon's gaze remained fixed, its eyes burning with an unnatural hunger for destruction.
