"Now that your secret's out, Eros, shall we form an alliance?" I proposed, my voice low and enticing. "Together, we can achieve greatness. You can continue your endeavors unrestricted. All you need to do is take my hand."
Eros's gaze narrowed, his expression wary. "You sound like a demon tempting a human to sell their soul."
I chuckled, my smile persuasive. "Fine, I'll do it," Eros conceded, "but only because we're friends, and you've helped me before."
My heart skipped a beat at the word "friends." It stirred something within me, a feeling I couldn't quite grasp. I felt uneasy, unfamiliar with this concept.
"Friends," I repeated, my voice barely above a whisper. "How quaint."
Eros's eyes sparkled with amusement. "Good for you, My Lady. You're learning to form bonds."
"Lynn, Lumi, let's summon Keahi and Sylvaine," I said excitedly. "We don't need to hide anymore. This estate is vast; I can draw the summoning circle without worry."
