"Two weeks ? No, I can't, doctor. I must participate in this competition. I don't have time to be laying around like this." Emma maintained and got out of the bed.
"Emma, please calm down. I understand that you are really interested in participating in the competition but you can't do that anymore. You need to recover. Your health comes first." Darla persuaded.
"Darla, you don't understand. I must participate." Emma insisted and tried to get up from the bed, but couldn't as her hand had been cuffed to the bed.

"How is she feeling now?" Williams asked his wife later in the evening.
"You are asking me as if you care!" Lilian scoffed and made to walk away from his sight, again. Williams quickly held her.
"What do you mean? Isn't she my daughter as much as she is yours?" Williams asked rhetorically.
"Well, you are not treating like she is your daughter." Lilian retorted.
