Katie crept out of Emily's consciousness at the start of the night.
Emily and Allerio had had another busy night, and they were lying on the mattress. She had refused for them to sleep in the basement of the cave even though it was more of a house.
Katie touched her shoulders. "I'm going on a trip."
She was far gone into sleep, and Katie suspected she had gone to a dream like she had always done.
As for Allerio, he was snoring like a man who had gone through severe labor. It could be that the time he spent with Emily was regarded as a pleasure filled labor.
Beside the mattress, his clothes and Emily's clothes were laid like rags.
"The man I told her I love." Katie rubbed her fingers over Emily's forehead, moving each strand of hair backward so that no one was touching her face.
That man should be waiting for her, and she had to leave to meet up with him in the other world.
She walked outside the cave, spreading out her arms as though to embrace the wind. "Emily would have to understand." She sat on the bare ground. "Sooner or later."
In an instant, the wind concentrated on her, blowing with fierceness that Emily would have feared would blow her away. With the blow of the wind, Katie began to appear faint just the same way she left the physical view to take her place in Emily's head. There was still a difference though. She had no control over it, the color of her skin and dress formed light.
"He's waiting for me." She could barely utter a statement, the wind had so much pressure and felt heavy to her mouth. "The world… called Tolias is waiting to receive me."
The wind had given off a loud sound, and it had woken Emily from her sleep. She rushed outside the cave, but all she saw was colored light that was already fading off.
She stood in a spot at the entrance of the cave, watching how the light faded off. "This light…"
"Katie." She called softly.
There was no voice speaking from her head.
"She didn't tell me she was going on a trip at this time."
The light was almost gone, and the last part of it was barely able to be seen.
"Is this what it means to transverse worlds?"
The answer was obvious for the fact that Katie had left her consciousness.
"Katie had not told me how she transverse."
She felt incomplete and halved. A part of her had gone somewhere far.
With the sound of footsteps approaching, she heard Allerio's voice. "Katie? Who is she?"
The wind was strong on Katie, and she saw herself taking a form in Tolias, the world she had told Emily that she had got someone who was interested in her.
"The rain is heavy tonight." She heard a man's voice.
'This voice.' It was the voice of the man she had come to see.
She was lying on a bed, close to a fire that was fueled with wood.
Slowly, she forced her eyes open. It was almost as though her eyes were glued to make it hard for her to open them.
"It would help chase the cold feeling from you," the man said when he noticed she was looking at the fire.
'I'm here?' She looked all around her.
The house had strange vibes that she couldn't give a meaning to.
With an intake of breath, the soup the man was preparing filled her nose, and it felt as though she had not eaten for days.
"How come you have me here?" She asked with a visible curiosity on her face.
He looked strangely at her, stress and weakness had made her forget, he thought.
"You came knocking at my door, but when you entered, you were too weak to stand."
'Was that it?' She wanted to ask, but the memory surfaced into her mind.
The wind had blown her through the astral plane as it reformed her body for a physical form.
'Oh, it's true.' She thought, but the house was new to her. How had she managed to find him in this place?
"You should eat with me." He walked towards the pot of soup.
She couldn't refuse, the scent was calling her to have a taste of it. It was to be eaten with rice, and strangely, the rice cooked in a different pot was shining bright white. A bleached white cloth could not compare to it.
"I have decided to be real with myself." His face turned solemn as he placed a bowl of the soup on the table before her.
'What does he plan to say?' Her ears were itching to hear what he was going to say.
He went over to the pot of rice to serve a plate.
'I haven't asked him his name.' She was looking at him. 'Or is it that we haven't got to the stage of using names?'
He smiled as he took a spoonful of soup to feed her.
"Are you going to feed me?"
They burst out laughing, and the weakness she felt in her body seemed to disappear.
"I can't hold it anymore." He adjusted his laughing face to portray a serious expression filled with longing.
"And what is it?"
"Before I speak, you would have to taste my soup."
She did not hesitate to open her mouth.
'Hmm… it tastes so good. He's such a great cook'
"It's good." She nodded multiple times. "I've done my part, tell me what you want to tell me."
He took a spot beside her on the bed, so close to her that she could feel the warmth from his body.
For about a minute, he didn't say anything, and she was waiting for him to speak. While she waited, a sensual feeling began to rise in her body, and the line in-between her legs began to have a mind of its own.
Still maintaining the silence, he placed his hands around her shoulders.
'This feeling… but he hasn't told me his name.' She felt her panties getting wet.
"I love you."
He finally said his words!
As though he had been reading her thoughts, he went on. "My name is Jade."
Jade had suspected that the wind blowing with the rainfall was jealous of the moment he was having with her when it blew the glass windows open. He had to rush to close it.
Things would be worse if he didn't.
"My name is Katie."
He was done closing the windows, and when she told him her name, he had an assurance that everything was going well between them.
In Tolias, names were kept private. They were not merely used as common identity, but instead, used for intimate relationships.
He resumed feeding her, and she felt accomplished.
She had told Emily that he was interested in her, but that wasn't the case. They were simply close friends.
"You deserve to enjoy it," he said.
She was smiling with so much ease that if the scene was played to her, she would not believe she had been so free with him.
"We should become mates," he said.
'Mates?' Katie screamed loudly in her head. 'I'm only part of someone else, how is it that I'm qualified to become someone's mate?'
"To become your mate?" She asked to confirm if she had heard him clearly.
'Was it that easy to get a mate?' Katie wanted to ask, but she felt her question would not make much sense to him.
The rules in Tolias were different from that in the Crescent World where Emily lived in a pack.
Without giving her an answer, he leaned to kiss her. She didn't protest, instead, flowed with him.
This time, she cared less of any part of her body taking control over her. As their lips were joined together, his right hand went down to hold her left breast. He held it to gain balance, pressing it softly.
'Maybe I wouldn't have to trouble Emily for a while.' She thought.
"Do you mind?" He was about to pull off her gown.
"Feel free."
He pulled off her gown, and even her panties was not left on her. She laid naked on the bed, craving for him to start an utmost work.
It happened that he wasn't ready to rush things, and so, she was going to wait longer for the actual action to start.
As his eyes examined the full view of her body, he unzipped his trousers and became in the same state as she was.
He dipped his middle finger into her warm hole, preparing it for the arrival of his length.
"Go… on with… it." She moaned between the words she was trying to say.
She was ready to have him.
He gave her a break by slowly inserting his length into her.
He had just gone three strokes into her when she heard Emily's voice from a far distance, sounding loudly in her head. The moans escaping her mouth had stopped, and it made him feel stiff.
"Anything… wrong?"
Did she lose the feeling of pleasure?
She gently pushed him away from her body, letting his length slide out of her.
"Emily needs me!" She rushed to wear her gown, but forgot to wear her panties underneath it.
She rushed outside the door.
"Wait!" Jade did not bother to wear a piece of cloth, but went for the door. "Where are you going?"
