The four of them looked towards the black coffin not far away, quietly placed there, its entire body a dense, ink-like blackness. It might have been their imagination, but the black coffin seemed to emanate a strange and sinister aura that made them feel uneasy.
Lin Wu's gaze shifted to Kate, "My instinct tells me not to open it."
"Boss, we have no idea what's inside that black coffin; if it's something dangerous, it might be a case of more trouble than it's worth." Xiaoyang and Zhang Shan also said.
Yet Kate was surprisingly insistent.
He walked towards the black coffin, saying as he did, "Since entering this Underground Palace tomb, we haven't encountered any real danger, just getting lost and the like. Maybe when the owner of the tomb built this place, they only kept creatures outside to guard it; there might be nothing inside."
