But both he and Lin Wu agreed that between Jia Shen and Kate, Kate was the more difficult to deal with and the one with deeper thoughts. If Kate were to join Guan Chen and Anna, he could very likely manipulate them subtly, potentially causing unforeseen issues.
Jia Shen, on the other hand, didn't seem as clever, and in terms of martial prowess, Guan Chen alone was more than enough to handle him.
