Upon hearing Lin Wu's words, Kate's gaze grew slightly stern.
He said, "What if I must ask Miss Lin to leave this place?"
"You can try." Lin Wu's tone was indifferent, "I'd like to see who can make that happen."
Kate frowned.
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out, "If you don't want to leave, it seems you're choosing to stay here and court death."
Lin Wu looked toward the voice and saw Jia Shen coming out of the tent, approaching them.
Jia Shen stopped beside Kate, his tone mocking, "I thought you were all smart people. After last night's attempt, you should have realized how out of your depth you are, but you still want to continue?"
Kate, with an even deeper frown, took a step forward, positioning himself between Jia Shen and Lin Wu, his eyes issuing a subtle warning.
Jia Shen ignored it.
However, Lin Wu spoke up, "If we have no means, do you?"
Both men paused and looked at her.
