"What happened?"
Lin Wu asked Bo Yuting as he fell silent. Following his gaze, her eyes landed on her own fingers.
She paused before asking again.
Bo Yuting looked up, his eyes returning to her face, dark and seemingly holding back some emotion.
Just as he was about to speak, an overtly disruptive male voice cut in.
"Can't you two see the time and place before getting all lovey-dovey? Is this really the right moment? Have you forgotten there's serious business at hand?"
Bo Yuting quickly turned his head to look, Lu Guiyan had come down unnoticed and was approaching. Waving his hand, he instructed his men to take away the Huo Family member, then walked towards the two, stopping a few steps away.
He spoke to Lin Wu first, "Miss Lin, as you hinted earlier, I let them go, but don't you owe me a reasonable explanation?"
