Hearing this, Lin Wu turned around to face Ji Jing directly.
She asked, "Why is that Mary so persistent in inciting people to provoke Lord Rat? Do they have a grudge?"
There was a hint of hesitation in Ji Jing's expression, seemingly weighing whether or not to tell Lin Wu. She looked around, and upon noticing no one else was nearby, said, "I'm not sure. I came here later than Mary did."
Lin Wu asked, "When?"
Ji Jing replied, "I heard that Mary came two years ago, and I came a few months after her."
Lin Wu's interest was piqued; she left the bucket where it was and stepped towards Ji Jing until she stopped in front of her.
"You've been living with her for nearly two years and are almost always together for labor. Don't you know what grudge she has against Lord Rat?"
Upon hearing this, a subtle strange expression appeared on Ji Jing's face.
