When Lin Wu arrived, she could see from a distance a group of people at the entrance of the village, led by Bai Jing and Ba Ning.
As she got closer, she slowed down the car and flashed her lights.
Once she stopped, Bai Jing came over to greet her.
Ba Ning followed closely behind.
Lin Wu unbuckled her seatbelt, pushed open the car door, and stepped out, taking a look at Bai Jing.
It had been a while since she saw him, and he seemed to have changed a bit, not as listless as before.
"You said you'd arrive after midnight, and here you are, actually after midnight. What were you doing in that valley that made you so late?" Bai Jing asked as he approached Lin Wu.
Following him, Ba Ning greeted, "Miss Lin."
Lin Wu nodded slightly in response and said to Bai Jing, "That place is where Zheng Mingxian and the others were ultimately aiming to find the meteorite. After visiting it, I discovered not only the cave marked on the map but also a group of tombs underground in that area."
