Lin Anning opened the door and entered the house; the courtyard was already tidied up neat and clean.
It seemed they were worried she might not be able to find her way someday, and thoughtfully put up markers on the walls and doors.
The main room was set up for her to live in, and Huo Shen would move in after they got married.
After entering, quilts and such were placed in the wardrobe.
Upon opening it, she found that quite a few clothes were prepared inside.
There were items for all seasons, and even the underwear was washed clean and neatly stacked.
In the shoe cabinet by the side, there were several pairs of shoes; she tried them, and they were all her size.
Next to the towel rack, there were unopened towels, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. Lin Anning looked over each one, her lips curving into a broad smile.
Then, the smile slowly faded.
She missed Huo Shen more and more; she wondered what kind of thoughts he had while preparing these.
