Huo Shen followed and left the hospital, and as soon as he stepped out of the main entrance, he saw the security guard parking the car by the road.
Huo Yang and Huo Ankang hadn't got into the car and were obviously waiting for him.
He paused for a moment, walking forward with one hand in his pocket.
"Old man, aren't we leaving yet? Don't tell me you can't bear to leave me—it's quite disgusting!"
Huo Yang, who had been brewing a morning's worth of words, had his efforts thwarted by Huo Shen's remark.
Swearing under his breath, he raised his cane and swung it toward him.
"You damned brat, can't you live a single day without pissing me off? To think I actually cared enough to forget your birthday and wanted to have a proper talk."
Huo Shen stepped aside nimbly, touched his back molar, and said in a carefree tone.
"No, please, spare me."
"Hurry up and go, I'm in a rush to get back."
Huo Yang, hopping mad, shot him a fierce glare before turning to get into the car.
