Lin Anning returned to the Educated Youth spot and saw that Huo Tiantian and Li Fen were both in the room.
The two were huddled together, not sure what they were looking at, laughing and talking.
She put down her schoolbag and glanced into the room.
"Sister Tiantian, Sister Li Fen, what are you looking at?"
Huo Tiantian turned her head to look at Lin Anning and waved at her.
"Little Anning, come here, we're looking at the letter Li Fen's beau wrote her!"
Lin Anning walked into the room and saw Li Fen's face flushed with shyness, and she couldn't help but tease her.
"Sister Li Fen has a beau? Since when?"
Li Fen held the letter and smiled sheepishly.
"Just a couple of months ago, my family said they had found someone for me. I didn't take it seriously at first, thinking that it was pointless since I hadn't returned to the city yet."
"So I wrote him a letter explaining the situation, asking him to look for someone else, so as not to waste his own time."
