"Are you students from Beijing University?"
The elderly man, surnamed Liu, appeared to be over sixty, with a face deeply furrowed by the years. His cloudy eyes looked lifeless, giving off an eerie sense of deathlike stillness.
Jiang Yan frowned slightly.
"We're freshmen, just enrolled today."
Grandpa Liu nodded casually, as if the question he asked was just a formality and he wasn't really serious about it.
He fished a key from his pocket, opened the garage door, and said indifferently, "Take a look; if you're satisfied, you can rent it right now."
It seemed as if he couldn't wait to rent the place out immediately.
Although it was a garage, the original roller door had been replaced with an aluminum-framed door with frosted glass, which made the interior look a bit brighter and offered some privacy when the door was closed.
