Xiao Qi was late coming out because he went back to the dorm to grab his clothes.
Yu Hang stood waiting for him at one side of the school entrance, not far from where Jiang Yan and Song Jiawen were. The boys were already arrogant and spoke loudly without any restraint, so not only Yu Hang but also nearly every passing student heard them.
Carrying his schoolbag, Yu Hang walked over, and a few boys who knew him and happened to pass by didn't leave, staying to watch.
"Have the guts to repeat what you just said."
From a distance, Xiao Qi saw a crowd gather because of Jiang Yan's height; he was the first one Xiao Qi saw.
Sensing trouble, Xiao Qi quickened his pace and ran over.
"What's going on?"
He reached Jiang Yan and Yu Hang's side and looked at the boys from Experimental Middle School across from them.
"It's nothing, just a bunch of dogs that have eaten their fill and come looking for attention."
Although Jiang Yan didn't want to fight, it didn't mean he was scared.
