If线之 Shen Jingxiu. Time
Continued from prior text:
Wenyan cradled the lamp, which encased another world within.
Her gaze fell upon a slender hand, that clearly defined hand was hanging a lamp on a tree.
That lamp was identical to the one she held in her hands at that moment.
Wenyan felt an indescribable shock in her heart, and along with the shock, a sense of anticipation.
Was this the lamp Shen Jingxiu made for her?
That hand, it was his, wasn't it??
Could this mean that she could return to that world?!
If it were truly possible, then the heavens were truly too kind!
But how could she get back there?
Wenyan turned the lamp this way and that, searching for any mechanism but found none.
Finally, she took the plunge and, without further thought, stepped directly into the water.
Strangely, in the midst of winter's cold, the lake's water was warm, not chilly at all!
When she realized this, Wenyan couldn't help but laugh.
Because she knew that her return was now assured!
