Clara stormed out of the principal's office, her face flushed with anger.
"Why wasn't I warned not to come in when the principal was still here? You all let that rude man insult me. Why is he even here? Shouldn't he be supporting his son? He doesn't seem like a father whose son is in trouble."
"I'm sorry miss but no one expected Mr. Philip to return to school after submitting his resignation letter." Mr. James confirmed this with a puzzled expression.
"I'm so angry," Clara exclaimed, her fist tightly clenched but her anger quickly dissipated as the hallway which was devoid of students who were in their classroom receiving lectures was soon filled with students. "Today is a great day," she added with a smile, waving to the students who gossiped about her with love and adoration in their eyes.
