Olive, who had covered her face with her hands in anticipation of the chubby guy's punch, lifted her head when the blow seemed to be taking too long. Looking up, she saw Mark, who had come to her rescue.
"What are you trying to do?" Mark asked, his voice filled with anger as he restrained the chubby guy.
"We're just following orders. This poop head already got a red card, so it's only fair to make his life miserable," the chubby guy explained.
"Leave him to me. You guys can go," Mark said firmly, causing the chubby guy and his companion to look surprised. When they hesitated, Mark added, "I hope you're not deaf?"
Quickly realizing the seriousness of the situation, the chubby guy and his friends hurriedly left, fearing the consequences if they didn't comply.
"I saved your ass!" Mark said with a smile on his face, reaching out his hand to Olive, who pushed it away and stood up on her own. "Damn it! That's what I get for helping someone, I guess," Mark continued with a heavy sigh.
"Why did they listen to you?" Olive asked, raising her eyebrows in confusion.
"Oh, that? Well, it's probably because I'm not a scholarship student," Mark replied with a chuckle, scratching his head.
"You're lying," Olive said, frowning and staring directly at Mark. "I can tell when someone is lying, so you better tell me the truth."
"How can you say that I'm lying? First, I didn't get anything for saving you, and now I'm being accused of lying," Mark yelled. "You really have a bad attitude, dude. A really bad one!" He added before walking away from Olive.
"Where are you going then?" Olive asked, stopping Mark in his tracks.
"Away from you, of course. I don't want to keep talking to someone who can't even say thank you and instead accuses me of lying," Mark replied, continuing to walk towards the door.
"Thank you!" Olive said, causing Mark to turn back with a smile on his face. "Can you please tell me why they suddenly obeyed you?" She asked, only to further irritate Mark, who walked out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.
Bang*
"Damn! What's his problem?" Olive muttered to herself. "He's accusing me of having a bad character, but he's the one with the bad attitude." She suddenly yelled in frustration before storming out of the bathroom and slamming the door behind her.

After Mark exited the bathroom, he ascended the stairs to find a hidden door deep within the school building, away from the view of students. Upon opening the door and stepping inside, he was immediately struck by the vastness of the space. Sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, casting elegant shadows on the polished marble floor. The walls were painted a soft gray, except for one wall adorned with a striking geometric pattern in gold and silver tones.
In the center of the room, a luxurious white leather sofa was arranged in a U-shape, where two young men in black tailored suits were seated. A modern coffee table sat on a cream-colored rug, its glass surface reflecting the sunlight. Across from the sofa, a sleek black entertainment center displayed an impressive collection of art books and travel guides on its shelves.
The fireplace itself was a work of art, with elegant lines and a gleaming metal finish that captivated the eye. The gentle flicker of the flames created a warm, inviting atmosphere in the room, casting a soft glow over the entire space.
Every detail, from the carefully chosen artwork on the walls to the state-of-the-art sound system playing a soothing melody, exuded wealth, taste, and refinement. This was a space designed for relaxation, entertainment, and indulging in the luxury that surrounded him.
"Lucas, don't you think you're pushing it too far?" Mark asked as he sat down on the sofa, facing the other two guys who looked at him with puzzled expressions. One of them, the Blondie who Olive had encountered before and known as the leader of the bully gang, and the other guy, with short black raven hair, deep golden eyes, and rosy lips, she had never met before. He had a perfect jawline and a well-chiseled body.
"Pushing it far with what, Mark?" George Lucas, with his big green eyes burning with curiosity, inquired.
"Bullying, of course. The new guy just arrived at this school and already got a red card on his first day," Mark replied as he poured himself some wine and took a sip.
"And since when do we get to decide when to give a red card?" the young man with short black raven hair, his deep golden eyes filled with confusion, asked.
"Thanks for asking that question, Aiden!" Lucas said with a burst of laughter. "But I thought you weren't into guys, Williams, but I guess I was wrong. Is that little dude your new boyfriend or just a toy to play with?" he continued.
"I like girls, not guys," Mark replied, rolling his eyes in disdain.
The three gentlemen discussion was soon interrupted by the arrival of a balb middle aged man in his fifties, dressed in a black tailored suit.
"The game is set, young masters!" announced the man , with a slight bow.
George Lucas, Belmont High School heir, Mark Williamsburg, and Aiden Thompson were the three wealthy masters of Belmont High School.
"Thank you, Steward John. We'll be there soon," Aiden replied with a smile, prompting the middle-aged man to leave.
Noticing Lucas's silence and smile, Mark asked, "What's so funny? Thinking about a girl to hook up with tonight?"
"Come on, man, spill it!" Aiden urged, his deep golden eyes filled with curiosity.
"I'm just curious to see how long it'll take for this new scholarship student to break," Lucas replied with a laugh. "The principal unknowingly provides me with new toys to play with every time she grants those lowlifes scholarships. It's insulting to have them study in the same school as me, Lucas. It's an insult to my existence."
"You're a devil, man," Aiden said as he sipped his wine.
Mark could only shake his head in disbelief and continued to drink his wine and smoke a cigarette.
"Let's go play the game, bro," Lucas said as he stood up, with Mark and Aiden following suit as they all exited the living room.
