"A hotel?!" Olive exclaimed, rounding on Lucas with an incredulous glare. "Have you completely lost your mind?"
The chauffeur drove the sleek black car into the hotel compound, where it stopped for a meticulous security check. Once cleared, the car rolled smoothly to a halt in front of the grand hotel entrance.
Lucas turned to Olive, his expression calm but serious. "Hey, I know what you're thinking, but it's not what you think. We're not here for anything inappropriate. I just wanted us to relax and have some fun, that's all. Trust me."
Olive let out a heavy sigh, her brows furrowing. "I really don't understand why we're here, Lucas. Class is still in session. People are bound to notice we're missing. And we're in our school uniforms, for goodness' sake, standing in front of a hotel. Do you have any idea what kind of rumors this could start?"
