Chapter 70 - Del's True Intentions

Silas gazed at Del's distant figure, his thoughts whirling with newfound possibilities. He focused on the shadow cast by the archway, picturing himself there. Darkness enveloped him in an instant, a cold rush accompanying his rapid movement.

Del's eyes widened as Silas materialized beside him, but the demon's surprise quickly gave way to a practiced smile.

"Well, well! Look who made it through the dungeon. I must say, I'm impressed," Del said, his voice smooth as silk. "So, tell me, what treasures did you manage to unearth down there?"

Silas narrowed his eyes. "I think you know exactly what I found, Del."

The demon's face remained a mask of innocence. "Do I? My dear boy, I assure you, I have no idea what you're talking about. The dungeon's contents are a mystery to all but those who brave its depths."
