Chapter 69 - Cleaning Up

Silas stared at his severed leg lying on the ground, a mix of disbelief and determination etched across his face. The sight of his own limb, detached and motionless, sent a wave of nausea through him. But he couldn't afford to succumb to shock or despair. Not now, not when he'd come so far.

With gritted teeth, Silas reached down and grasped his severed leg. The flesh was still warm, a stark reminder of how recently it had been a part of him. He lifted it, surprised by its weight, and positioned it against the ragged stump of his thigh.

As he pressed the limb to his wound, Silas felt a strange tingling sensation. His regeneration ability, enhanced by his recent upgrades, began to work its magic. At first, the feeling was subtle, like pins and needles dancing across his skin. But it quickly intensified, becoming a burning ache that radiated from the point of contact.
