Chapter 63 - Wizz and Shu

Silas hesitated for a moment, weighing his options. The wizard and her imp companion seemed more curious than hostile, but he knew appearances could be deceiving in this strange dungeon.

"I'm Silas Blackwood," he said, deciding honesty was the best approach. "I'm searching for my mother. I didn't mean to intrude on your... home?"

The wizard's stern expression softened slightly. She lowered her staff, no longer holding it in a defensive posture.

"Well met, Silas Blackwood. I am Wizz," she said, her voice carrying a hint of amusement. "And this is my home, of sorts. Though I doubt many would consider a magical dungeon to be prime real estate. That said, it is pretty much free real estate."

The imp fluttered closer, her wings creating a soft buzzing sound. She circled Silas once, eyeing him with undisguised interest.
