Chapter 87 - Chapter Eighty Seven

~Crumbled into Nothingness~

Azazel saw this and he unsheathed the Red Sword. He was about attacking Damien when Ramiel saw this, he drew out his sword and slit Azazel's throat.

"Noooo!" The fake Niamh was rushing towards Azazel when she got stabbed on her stomach.

"Neev!" Both Lansel and Damien called in unison. They both thought it was the real Niamh not knowing it was the illusion. It was Ramiel that stabbed her.

The fake Niamh paused when she got stabbed, she disappeared.

Upon seeing this, Lansel attacked Damien with all of his powers.

"The Red Sword! Where did Azazel get it?" Jezebel made to carry the sword but an invisible force sent her flying towards one of the statues.

And so, the real Niamh appeared.

Lansel and Damien were still fighting. Lansel was on the floor, groaning after he got hit several times by Damien. Damien took steady strides towards him, grinning from ear to ear.

"You're a weakling, Neev doesn't deserve a coward" saying that, Damien raised up his sword to stab Lansel when he suddenly felt something pierced through his spine and came out through his stomach.

His whole body tensed up.

"Neev doesn't deserve a devil!" She gritted and pushed the sword further. Just like that, Damien turned to ashes.

"No! Damien!" Jezebel yelled and made to attack Niamh but Niamh binded her with her powers and...

Slish Slash

She cut her throat in two. Jezebel also turned to ashes.

Lansel was back in his feet and he rushed towards Niamh.

"You good?" It was a whisper and Niamh nodded.

She gasped and rushed towards Azazel on the floor, bathed in his own pool of blood.

"Stay with me Azazel" she was in tears.

Azazel opened his eyes and smiled faintly.

"You did it, Angel" it came out as a whisper.

"Stay with me, don't go" Niamh cried. Azazel slipped his hand into his inner pocket and took out a small box with a label 'Ancient Pill' and gave it to her.

"With this, you can overthrow the witches" and just like that, Azazel died.

"Noooo! Wake up Azazel, please!!!" Niamh cried profusely. Lansel came forward and coaxed her. Niamh felt rage building inside her, craving to pour out some blood. The blood of those who killed Azazel. She stood up, glaring at Ramiel, who was beginning to groan in pain. Blood began oozing out of his eyes, nose, mouth and ear as he was melted from inside. With a final strike from the Red Sword, he turned to ashes.

Everyone was staring at her with an extremely shocked expression. This particular goddess is truly powerful and dangerous. Then, Niamh's gaze fell on Vulcan, the last man standing. Before he could comprehend what was going on, Niamh strode towards him, the edge of the Red Sword, clinging on the floor as she dragged it.

When she was close enough, she raised up the sword and plunged the sword straight into Vulcan's brain.

Done with the demons!

Suddenly, the floor began shaking like earthquake is going to occur.

"Neev, let's go!" Lansel grabbed her wrist.

"Marius" he calls and just like that, they disappeared.

Outside, Neev paused and turned back to the falling kingdom.

"Neev, let's go" Lansel called but Niamh paid a deaf ear and disappeared.

She went to Draunkles [Vales of the Dragons] and opened the large black gate. A loud screeching growl was heard and a large dragon stepped out, growling loudly. Niamh smiled as it bowed it's heads towards her. Without wasting much time, she climbed up the dragon and flew away.

The portal opened and Lansel and Marius walked out. Everyone was waiting for the arrival of the king and his Queen when they unexpectedly saw him alone with Marius.

"Where's Neev dear?" Queen Diantha asked. And as if her question was heard, the large dragon emerged in the sky with Neev riding it. Lansel smiled proudly.

"That's my woman"

Niamh flew pass them and went round the Moon Realm before coming back to the courtyard. She dismounted the dragon. A round of cheerful applause covered the air.

"You did it, my queen" Lansel appeared before them and Niamh shook her head.

"We did it, my King. Develdion crumbled down to nothingness" she corrected and they hugged.

"All hail thee, king Lansel Styrix, the Moon Supreme, protector of the Moon Realm and Queen Neev Sullivan, the Moon goddess, the guardian of dragons" Marius announced and every single soul, every single citizen of the Moon Realm knelt with one knee, their heads bowed.
