~Heartbroken~
"What if I like someone else? Does that mean my feelings never mattered?" Lansel proved stubborn and asked.
Queen Diantha frowned.
"I warned you beforehand not to fall for the wrong person but you were persistent and stubborn. Aye, your feelings never mattered" she snapped, feeling displeased.
"I'm not doing such outrageous thing just for the kingdom. I don't mind killing that anonymous goddess just to break the curse and marry the one I love" Lansel retorted and stood up angrily.
"Don't go see Neev in this seven days or your goddess will be mad at you" Queen Diantha warned strictly but Lansel only scoffed.
"Let her die, not like I care!" Saying that, he left banging the door. Queen Diantha rubbed her temple and sighed tiredly.
"Goodness, what do I do with you Lansel? If only you knew...."
Niamh was in the balcony, watering the Bluebell flower. Since the plant meant a lot to her, the Queen let her take it. So, she was watering it while humming a song when Lucretzia entered.
"Lady Neev" she called and Niamh turned with a smile.
"Oh pretty witch, it's you" she beamed.
"You sent your maids to get you cup of tea but they are extremely busy so, they passed the order to me. Here" Lucretzia stated, handing her the cup and she took it.
"The maids are busy? Doing what?" Niamh suddenly asked.
Lucretzia took a deep breath and stared at nothing.
"The first Prince is getting married in seven days time. Everywhere is busy"
GBANG!
BADUM! BADUM!
Niamh's heart skipped three news at a time. She thought she didn't hear her correctly but when Lucretzia repeated it, she turned pale.
"The prince is getting m-m- married?" Niamh asked in disbelief. It felt really heavy to say the word 'married'.
"Aye, lady Neev" Lucretzia nodded. Niamh gaped at her confirmation. She suddenly felt like she lost it. She felt a sting in her heart, thinking about it alone. This felt more painful than she ever imagined and she didn't expect it to be coming soon.
Like she's hurt and heartbroken even before she confessed her feelings to him. Though she is never doing that. What's next now? She can't obviously keep loving someone who'll get married in the next one week. So, she came up with an idea- to avoid him.
Lucretzia turned to her when she didn't say her say anything and it seems Niamh is lost in her own world.
"Lady Neev?" She called. Niamh slowly turned to her. Sadness and pain were evident in her silver eyes that Lucretzia noticed in one glance.
"I understand how you feel, and I apologise it has to come this way. I just had to tell you beforehand" Lucretzia coaxed.
She felt really bad for Niamh. Though, she (Lucretzia) had once had feelings for prince Lansel, that as then because she knew she can't be with him. So, we just gave up on him. But Niamh here doesn't know about the whole goddess stuff and she blindly fell in love with him. I don't blame her though.
"I need some time alone, Lucretzia" Niamh finally spoke, her voice came out in a whisper.
"Are you sure?" Lucretzia asked, patting her arm and Neev nodded.
"Don't think too much, all will be well" Lucretzia cooed and left.
Niamh laid down on her bed, hugging her pillow. She can't stop thinking about it no matter how many times she tried brushing the thought off. Lansel brought her to the kingdom in the barn is protecting her, but all these are happening now. If that's the case, she made up her mind that she'll go back to the Calm Region and face Damien rather than staying here and hurting her feelings.
Lucretzia met prince Dionysios standing in the atrium, near the Mild Isle. So, she joined him there.
"This is surely not good" she stated.
"What's that?" Prince Dionysios asked.
"I told lady Neev about prince Lansel's marriage and she's heartbroken. I saw the pain in her eyes I never expected to see. She must have loved the prince so much"
Dionysios turned to stare at her properly. "Lansel loved her too" he replied. He breathed out and turned away.
"What a child play, they both love each other and they're getting married to each other without them knowing. The Moon Realm is always full of wonders" Dionysios chuckled.
"I concerned about lady Neev, what if she falls sick before the wedding?" Lucretzia asked.
"We can help her forget about her worries. Cousin Nero will be the best at doing that" Dionysios grinned.
"I hope so. At least, she'll be happy to marry him at the end" Lucretzia smiled. Dionysios turned to her, staring at her jealously.
"You still love my brother?" He asked. Lucretzia gaped at his question.
"No way! It's been a very long time since I stopped having feelings for him. I was only happy for Neev" she stated truthfully.
Dionysios huffed and didn't say anything.
"Why is the Calm Prince angry? Are you jealous?" Lucretzia tried teasing him.
Dionysios turned and slammed his hand on the wall behind Lucretzia, caging her. His gorgeous face loomed over hers and his ocean blue eyes were boring into her purple ones.
"When I think you've passed this. When I feel I've finally gotten you back... you're playing with my heart... Lucretzia"
