Standing at the gate of the college, Ethan looked toward Elaina, Kate, and Zadan and said, "I'm ready to go."
"Are you sure you want to go alone? At least take me with you," Elaina pleaded, tears welling in her eyes.
Ethan walked up to her and hugged her tightly. "Elaina, we've talked about this. I have a reason not to bring you with me. But don't worry, I'll return. Then, I will never leave you behind."
After recuperating and gaining new powers, Ethan had become the strongest in the college. To progress further, the system advised him to leave the college and search for his fortune.
Initially, Ethan considered bringing Elaina, Kate, and Zadan with him, but the place he was going to was too dangerous. So, he decided against it.
Separating from Elaina, Ethan hugged Kate as well. After kissing their foreheads one by one, Ethan said, "Farewell, everyone. We will meet again, and I hope you will be powerful enough by then."
