Ethan, who looked tired, made his way toward Iliyana and stood in front of her. He only said one word.
"Speak."
Iliyana had a slight smile on her face and said, "Can you see the stone bowl in the middle of the pond? Inside that stone bowl is spiritual liquid which is very important to me, and you have to get it."
Ethan didn't follow her directly but looked behind her. "Where are your partners?"
"They are not my partners, and you don't need to know. So, focus on the task I gave you."
Ethan really wanted to beat her up, but his hands were tied. The frustration bubbling inside him made him calmer. He looked at the pond. He took a step forward, but Iliyana's voice rang out again.
"Remember, that pond is not normal. Don't blame me for not reminding you."
After stopping for a second, Ethan once again walked forward and stood near the pond, assessing his situation.
