Chapter 115 - Chapter 115: Heavenly Demonic sword

The next morning, the two girls she had robbed appeared at the outer gate of the Kuoh academy and communicated with the bespectacled young woman from the Sitri clan, who then contacted Rias and told him that those two were looking for her and would meet her in the afternoon.

"We thank you for your cooperation.

I am Xenovia."

"And I am Irina."

Rias crossed his arms and legs and asked directly.

"For what reason would God's servants wish to meet a demon?"

"Although they have not yet been located, three of the six Excaliburs guarded by the church have been stolen by fallen angels. And just yesterday a mysterious fallen angel ambushed us and stole two more Excaliburs."

"Stolen? And what exactly do they want from us?"

Although no one noticed, Yuuto's expression changed upon hearing the word Excalibur and a murderous intent began to swirl in his eyes.

Just as he was about to say something, a telepathic message entered his mind and shut him up immediately.

Another telepathic message entered Rias' mind and transmitted a message to him.

Rias blinked for a second before returning to normal.

"This problem is between us and the fallen angels.

We can't afford to take on the demons in this city as well."

"And you thought I'd be on the side of the fallen angels to do something to the holy swords?"

"The demons despise and fear the sacred swords. You're in the same position as the fallen angels."

Rias suddenly began to release his aura and his eyes glowed crimson.

"Ara Ara, it looks like the president is getting angry."

"If necessary, we will destroy you completely, even if you are the sister of one of the four Satan."

"If you think you're so smart, then let me tell you something else.

I would never side with the fallen angels.

In the name of the Gremory family, I swear I would never do anything that would humiliate Satan."

"I'm glad to hear that.

That's exactly what our headquarters was hoping for."

"So you just wanted to make sure I wasn't against you and your god, right?"

"Obviously, we just wanted to make sure you wouldn't interfere with this issue."

"Understood, you may leave now."

"Right."

The two girls got up and left.

Suddenly, a person materialized on the couch and sat straight down.

Before anyone spoke, Yuuto approached Noah with a serious look in his eyes and asked.

"Astaros sensei, is it true what you told me?"

Noah slowly nodded his head before telling him.

"That man is here, he is the one responsible for stealing the Excaliburs and giving them to the leader of the fallen angels.

Because of what he did to you and your companions, the church exiled him and labeled him a heretic, that's why he now works for the fallen angels.

Once he appears, you will have the chance to carry out your revenge but now you have to be patient and cool your mind, don't let a moment of anger cloud your mind and make you miss the chance to take your revenge."

Yuuto clenched his fists tightly for a moment before taking a deep breath.

"Thank you sensei for the warning, I will follow sensei's advice and wait for the best opportunity just as you told me."

Yuuto was a victim of an experiment conducted by one of the cardinals of the church, who tricked a group of children into believing that they were chosen by god to carry out a holy mission.

In reality, that cardinal used those children as a test subject to create an artificial carrier of one of the Excalibur, since only people with a high concentration of sacred energy could carry it and such people were extremely rare.

In the end, Yuuto was the only survivor who managed to escape from that place but was still on the verge of death.

It was Rias who found him and resurrected him as a demon, giving him a new life.

From that day on, Yuuto swore that he would avenge the pain caused to him and his dead friends.

Noah smiled and nodded with satisfaction before he looked at Rias seriously and began to explain the next plan.

For starters, the white dragon had found its bearer and would appear at the next big event.

Besides him, there was one of the two leaders of the fallen angels who was destined to be sealed by Azazel, the other leader of the fallen angels.

In the evening, Noah walked until he reached the river while carrying a fishing rod and a bucket in both hands.

He sat down next to a middle-aged man and cast his rod.

A few seconds later, without turning his head, he spoke to the man next to him while his eyes were still focused on the fishing pole.

"Want to play a game?"

The middle-aged man also did not turn to look at him and replied.

"Sure, what shall we play?"

"Whoever catches the biggest fish wins. The loser will have to fulfill a request from the winner, how about it?"

The middle-aged man rubbed his chin in amusement before agreeing.

"Why not?"

And so, an hour passed without either of them catching any fish.

Although neither spoke again, strangely, the scene seemed quite harmonious.

After another hour, the strands of the two rods moved at the same time and the two began to retrieve the line from their rods at the same time.

Surprisingly, the threads of the two rods had tangled together and what was between them was a small fish.

"Haha! Looks like it's a tie."

"Looks like it."

Sighing, Noah set his rod down before walking away.

"I guess no luck."

Azazel, the leader of the fallen angels, looked at Noah walking away with a strange smile on his face.

"Red dragon emperor, approaching me directly... what are you up to?"

A few minutes later, someone appeared behind Azazel, who had untangled the fishing poles and went back to fishing quietly.

"Oh, you've come to keep this lonely man company too?"

"Someone was here recently..."

On the other side, in a distant forest.

"Kya!"

Irina's clothes were torn as a fallen angel attacked her before cornering her and grabbing one of her exposed breasts.

"What should I do with you?"

"Get your filthy hands off me, you blasphemer."

"Haha! You just make me want to have even more fun."

"Enough! Knock her out and take her Excalibur."

The one who spoke was a fallen angel who suddenly appeared in the sky.

He had a sinister face, sharp ears and ten black wings on his back.

This was Kokabiel, the second leader of the fallen angels, who directly opposed Azazel.

"But my lord, he carries no Excalibur with him..."

"How?"

Kokabiel personally came down from the sky to check Irina's body and seeing that she didn't have her Excalibur with her, he got angry and sent her flying, crashing into a tree.

"Let's go, there's nothing to do here anymore."

Annoyed, Kokabiel turned to leave.

His plan to lure Michael using the Excaliburs had failed because the angel leader only sent two girls to retrieve the stolen swords and worse, someone stole the swords he stole first, this frustrated him greatly.

"Tomorrow will be the big day, tomorrow the great war of the three races will resume."

With a sinister smile, Kokabiel flew away.

In an abandoned building, Noah and Yuuto suddenly appeared.

"I'll take care of the fries, you can take your revenge in peace."

Noah's divine sense penetrated the walls and he noticed the five fallen angels guarding a plump cleric.

With an explosion, the entire building collapsed from the enormous pressure generated by Noah's force field.

Curiously, the place where the old man was standing was unharmed, forming a circle of ruins around him.

Noah crushed the five low-ranking fallen angels to death and then stepped aside, leaving Yuuto to face the elderly cleric.

The man was trembling slightly but still put a smile on his face.

"Ah... I remember you, the little lamb that got away. Look at you now, turned into a demon full of sins."

"Cut the crap, today I'm going to kill you to avenge my friends killed by your experiments."

"Ah, right. Those children...

I have you and them to thank for your contributions.

Thanks to you, the experiment was a success."

Yuuto frowned at those words.

"The power of each of you was not enough to wield a holy sword on your own. Which led me to a solution.

I simply had to take their power and crystallize it."

He then pulled a crystal out of his pocket.

"This is a crystal that contains every last grain of power from those children!"

He shook the crystal in his hand before tossing it at Yuuto's feet like it was trash.

"Take it, you can have it as a souvenir.

We have technology to mass produce more refined crystals."

Yuuto carefully grabbed that small diamond-shaped crystal as he remembered the faces of each of his companions.

"Balba Galilei...

How many lives have you wasted for your experiments and your own greed?

As Yuuto shed tears of sorrow, the crystal in his hands began to glow blue and release motes of blue light that surrounded Yuuto.

They were the souls of each of Yuuto's companions trapped in that crystal.

"I...always wondered...if I deserved to be the sole survivor.

Many of them had bigger dreams and aspirations than me....

Many of them deserved to live longer than me....

Do I deserve to live in peace while they are dead?"

Yuuto didn't realize what was going on around him until a small hand tugged at his shirt.

Confused, Yuuto looked at the soul of the little girl smiling gently at him.

Like bubbles bursting, suddenly all the souls turned into motes of blue light that began to flutter around Yuuto as they cheered him on.

"Interesting... That knight has reached a limit.

When a Sacred Gear owner's hopes and dreams change to go against the flow of the rest of the world, his Sacred Gear will exceed its limits, creating...a Balance Breaker.

...

Though a monster like you has no need for such things, and you were able to awaken it only a few days after I woke up."

As Ddraig finished speaking, the souls around Yuuto merged with him.

Yuuto looked seriously at Balba Galilei.

"My companions don't want revenge for them...they never did....

However, I have to eliminate the evil standing in front of me.

I must prevent someone else from suffering our same tragedy!"

With a flash, Yuuto activated his sacred Gear, causing a sword to appear in his hand.

The former Cardinal Balba took a step back and raised his hand, where a small white marble glowed.

It was a teleportation device.

Before he could activate it, a magic arrow struck his hand and the marble flew away.

It was Noah who casually spat that arrow out of his mouth.

"I will become a sword.

My comrades...you are now one with my soul.

Let us fulfill our sorrows and our dreams of those days."

As he raised the sword high, a black demonic aura and another white holy aura came out of Yuuto's body and intertwined on the sword.

"I will become the sword that will cut down the enemies of my comrades."

The two auras completely bathed the sword.

"Sword birth!"

The auras dissipated, revealing a half-white, half-black straight sword.

"Behold, the sword of treachery! A blade that is holy and demonic!"

Balba Galilei was shocked to see what he could only describe as a miracle.

"How is that possible...two opposing forces coming together, that is unheard of!"

"You don't need to know, your life ends here."

Yuuto waved his sword and Balba Galilei's head flew off his body.

At the same time, Noah sucked Balba's soul into his spiritual sea before destroying it, absorbing his memories.

What mattered most to him was the ritual to merge the Excaliburs into one and the method to create the sacred energy container crystals, in addition to his memories of this world's transmutation alchemy.

"Yuuto, let's go back before we alert the enemy."

"Yes."

Yuuto put away his new sword before teleporting back to Rias' office.
