"Nexus, put the previous task on hold and start a new task."
"Beep!"
"Task paused."
"Please indicate the new task."
"Use the teleportation technology data to create an interdimensional gate that can be controlled by the willpower of an energy machinist.
A planetary core will be used as the energy source.
Also deduce a tracking method so that I can follow my spiritual projection to get the world coordinates."
"Beep!"
"Task set!"
"Calculating...."
"Calculations complete!"
"Estimated time for the creation of the interdimensional gateway: one year, five months and twenty days."
"Materials needed for the creation of the gate:..."
Nexus sent a long list of the estimated materials for the time being to create the gate directly to the Omega inscription before Noah put it back into the magic gourd.
Even if it was inside the gourd, it would not affect Nexus' speed at all.
Now alone in his cultivation room, he spent some time thinking about his next steps to take.
He decided to abandon his Mech pilot willpower cultivation for the time being.
The ultimate goal of a Mech pilot was to merge completely with his Mech, becoming the core of the Mech itself.
In this way, the Mech would become a second body for the pilot.
After careful consideration, Noah decided to first explore the other three remaining universes before using the interdimensional gateway to travel through the various worlds of his own universe.
That way he could gather the technology and ingredients to create the best Mech ever created for himself and others.
After a couple of hours, Noah changed clothes, putting on a white tunic before going to the peak of his new master, from whom he received the new cultivation method.
He let the Omega chip analyze the new method for a while before his aura slowly began to change.
Obviously, he would not abandon his cultivation technique to practice a lower level one.
He simply had the Omega chip change the fluctuations of his willpower to match those of the new technique.
Normally it would take a long time to change a cultivation technique so Noah made his aura change day by day and it wasn't until three months later that he fully changed to the aura emitted by the practitioners of the glowing rainbow technique.
Once he felt the time was right, he came out of seclusion and began taking missions non-stop for the next six months.
for the next six months.
It didn't matter what type of mission it was, as long as it required a beginner level 5 energy machinist, he would take it.
He excelled mostly in combat missions.
Because the synthetic beasts he created with his biochemical pool were poisonous wyverns that always laid waste in their clashes with the disciples of the other sects, he was nicknamed the Bloody Wyvern King.
He couldn't care less about the nicknames given to him by his new enemies, he simply set out on a race to score as many points as possible.
After those six months had passed, he managed to accumulate a billion points, half of which he spent on resources to enter the resonance level.
During these months, he had managed to get along quite well with his teammates.
Max even took him to his personal vault to brag about his great treasure in a drunken moment.
Although Noah wasn't interested in Max's treasures at first, that changed when he saw a small cane lying to the side.
Noah secretly used his telekinesis to pull the cane close to his back before slipping it into a normal space kit before leaving and bidding farewell to the drunken Max.
Although the staff would be of no use to him, he could trade it to someone for valuable information.
Spending three hundred crystals to teleport to the polar region of a planet controlled by the energy machinists called planet Naga, he stayed in a city near a certain sect before asking one of the disciples of said sect to send a letter to a particular person.
Garen had just finished a mission and was about to go to rest when he received a visit from a disciple he had never seen before.
The disciple simply told him that someone had sent him a letter, without saying anything else.
Although doubtful, Garen accepted the letter and entered his villa before checking the letter for any traps, even to be sure, he ordered one of his synth beasts, a wild wolf, to open the letter with its claws.
1 second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds.
After ten seconds with nothing happening, Garen finally approached the letter and opened it.
Inside the envelope was a picture with some notes written on the back.
Garen's eyes contracted as he saw what was on the picture.
"Staff of Absolute Yin!"
Turning the picture over, he began to read the notes.
"I found something you might be interested in.
Shall we make a trade like last time?
If you are willing meet me in White Feather City in two days at the main hotel in town at 10:00 PM.
I will be waiting for you.
Sincerely, an old friend."
"Business? Old friend?"
Countless possibilities flashed through Garen's mind.
First he thought of the prince of the Blackboard region, from whom he got the first staff of Absolute Yin. But he quickly dismissed this possibility as it would be impossible for the other party to get here, let alone know his current whereabouts and identity.
After a while, he remembered the strange person he met when he first came to this world.
It was that man who helped him heal in exchange for his two secret techniques.
As he thought, the energy machinist chip on his forehead glowed slightly.
After a while, he concluded that meeting the other party should not be dangerous.
He remembered how easily the other party could pass through space.
Besides, if the other party wanted to kill him, it could have killed him when he was still weak then.
"Maybe I can find an ally..."
With that thought in mind, Garen decided to go meet the other party.
Two days later, Garen entered a luxurious high-end hotel.
A waiter approached him directly before respectfully asking.
"Excuse me, are you Mr. Garen?"
Garen nodded and the waiter guided him to a large table filled with food.
"Mr. Garen, sit down, let's eat first before we talk business."
Noah was wearing a tight black suit that gave him a sophisticated air.
Garen sat on the other side of the table and without a word, began to eat.
A large table full of food that could feed more than ten people was devoured by two men who looked too refined to eat all of it.
Both Garen and Noah received education and etiquette that is taught to the highest quality nobles so their movements were elegant but natural at the same time.
People passing around them looked at them in awe but neither of them cared.
Setting aside his half-empty wine glass, Noah looked directly at Garen, who had stopped eating.
"Well, I'm here for something very simple.
I want the method you developed to expand the amount of monsturs you can control."
Garen paused and began to ponder.
"May I ask how do you know about me? My name and my secrets?"
Noah smiled at that question.
"Let's just say my eyes are...special, I can see certain things."
He faded the illusion over his eyes, showing what they really looked like before covering them again.
After a long moment, Garen agreed.
After all, all the other party asked for was information, something that while valuable, was not as valuable as improving his strength.
Withholding that information was of no benefit to him.
Garen touched the staff to feel it and smiled slightly as he felt potential points being gathered on his data pad.
Garen did his part and recorded all the relevant information about the synthbeast control enhancement method before handing it over to Noah.
Noah smiled and absorbed the information before the crystal turned to dust.
"Good! Mr. Garen, it's been a pleasure doing business with you.
This will probably be the last time we see each other."
Smiling, Noah left the money for the bill on the table before teleporting back to his cultivation room.
In the original story, Garen managed to devise a method to improve the amount of synth beasts he could control.
He managed to control up to fifty wild wolves while being at the initial rank five.
Just as a Mech pilot must resonate with his Mech at level five, an energy machinist must do the same but with his synth beasts.
To improve the quality of his wild wolves, Garen had implanted distorted seeds created by his Hellfrost Peacock technique and alternating them with a secret method.
With this information, Noah could ask Nexus to analyze it to improve the method and increase the amount of synthetic beasts he could control.
Returning to his routine, Noah returned to the battlefield, constantly fighting and gaining points.
Although his master was not entirely happy with the fact that he was not making any progress and was just collecting points, there was nothing he could do about it as Noah was very stubborn about it.
It was not until almost a year later that he ended his indiscriminate killing of the disciples of the other sects.
Looking at the notice that appeared on his holographic screen, he smiled before going to the resource exchange area.
He had currently managed to get 3 billion points.
Entering the planetary core section, he realized that the cheapest one cost 2'5 billion points.
Sighing at the fact that he would soon be poor again, he bought it and stored it in his storage device.
The planetary core was contained within a crystal sphere was the size of a fist.
Although it was of low quality, the amount of energy he could feel inside was tremendous.
After reaching his cultivation room, Noah brought out Nexus and a workbench along with a pile of materials.
"Beep!"
"Processing materials."
As Nexus was processing the materials, Noah was putting them together and slowly creating the door.
"Beep!"
"Interdimensional gate 1.0 has been successfully fabricated."
"Please insert the power source so it can be turned on."
Noah ignored Nexus and shoved it straight into his magic gourd along with the gate and the other devices.
"What a joke! Opening the door will surely release spatial fluctuations.
The last thing I want is for the whole cult's alarms to start ringing."
Noah first accepted a random mission, teleporting to a distant planet.
After taking care of rebellious members of a low-grade cult, he searched for an inconspicuous cave in which to place the gate before removing the planetary core and placing it in a compartment to one side of the gate.
He then put on a helmet connected to the door before using his evil eyes.
After searching for a while, he found the energy signature of the Giant planet and his consciousness appeared in the middle of the jungle.
He first searched a nearby cave with his divine sense before going inside and waiting.
His spiritual projection and his body were connected by an invisible thread, and the gate used this same thread to discover the coordinates of the spiritual projection.
Five minutes later, a series of numbers appeared on a small screen on the door before a blue swirl covered the door.
"Beep!"
"Coordinates established."
"Door open."
"Power source remaining 73%."
Just opening the door once expended more than a quarter of the planetary core's energy.
Noah withdrew his spirit projection, which was currently standing in front of a blue whirlpool that appeared in the middle of the cave.
Removing his helmet, he entered through the portal before it closed.
The door turned into a small ring that entered her hand.
Upon opening a portal, the coordinates of the previous location would automatically be recorded.
Stepping out of the cave, he deployed his divine sense to the limit, sensing everything around him.
"Nexus! Start surveying the area to create a map."
"Beep! Mission established."
Noah paced for a while before a giant Triceratops appeared before him.
Grinning, he started on his new kill.
