"You're a lost cause, Sheila," Emily commented before letting out a sigh.
Sheila remained silent for a few seconds before asking her friend:
"Has anything important happened at the lab?"
"The usual for now."
"Are you sure nothing has happened?" Sheila asked, puzzled, since almost every day something important happened in that lab.
"Well, now that I think about it, Dr. Lee looked very upset after leaving a meeting with, you know, the suited people," Emily said the last part mockingly.
Both Emily and Sheila had had bad experiences with men who usually wore business suits when talking to them, and all of them, so far, had been boring men who always ended up offering them a job at their company to leave the lab.
