After Sophia's tantrum, Benjamin ordered another small table to be brought with the types of fruits she currently liked.
A few minutes later, a nurse arrived with a tray full of pears, grapes, and apples, and placed it next to Sheila's bed.
Now they had 1 basket, 1 rolling table, and 1 tray full of fruits.
'How excessive,' thought Sheila as she finished eating another tangerine.
Sophia looked at her tray with satisfaction and began to take a pear.
"That's better," Sophia said with a satisfied expression.
Benjamin smiled and commented:
"You know, Sophia, these fruits weren't just for you."
Sophia looked up, somewhat confused.
"What do you mean?"
Benjamin pointed to the covered plate on the rolling table.
"That special dish is for Treit. I wanted to make sure she had something suitable for her recovery."
Treit, who had been observing the interaction, leaned forward curiously.
