Aiden gave both horses a quick glance and said, "They do suit your personality."
Kai replied with a hint of urgency in his tone, "If you're done with the introduction, can we leave."
Aiden said, "We can't leave yet. We have a long journey ahead of us. We need more supplies." Aiden ordered one of the armory soldiers to prepare supplies for the group.
As the soldier left, Aiden said to Kai. "There's a Marquee right behind the armory. We can wait there." As Aiden said, he walked towards the armory.
Luna said to Kai, "Let's wait in the marquee." She approached Kai with her calm tone.
Kai sighed softly and said, "Fine!" He followed Aiden to the marquee, with Eiera and Rin following him.
In the marquee, there were four seats arranged to face each other, with a small table between them. Kai sat in front of Aiden Eiera, and Rin sat across each other while Luna sat on Rin's shoulder.
After a moment of silence in the marquee, Aiden glanced at Rin and Eiera. He saw a stern look on both of her faces.
Aiden took a deep breath and said, "I know all of you hate me. You don't even like me even sitting here with you, but trust me. I don't like you guys either." Aiden continued, "All of us are going on a journey together. And I don't want our personal issues to come in our way or our purpose."
Eiera and Rin acknowledged Aiden's advice and nodded in approval.
Aiden turned to Kai and said, "Kai, am I right? Would you mind removing your mask?"
Kai responded, "Got a problem with the mask."
Aiden replied with a casual tone, "How can I trust someone who always hides his face and wants me to follow his lead."
Kai said, "No! You can forget about that."
Aiden replied, "Fine, then don't expect me to trust you either."
Kai stated, "I didn't expect anything else from you."
Before Aiden could respond any further, A soldier entered the marquee and said to Aiden. "Master Aiden, your supplies are ready."
Kai stood up and walked out of the marquee. Everyone followed Kai except Aiden.
Aiden gritted his teeth, trying his best to calm his fury. As Aiden's anger was contained, he also walked out of the armory.
Outside the marquee stood a twelve-foot-tall four-wheel carriage made of dark wood with no side windows or doors; the door was at the back of the carriage. The carriage was filled with supplies for Aiden's journey.
Aiden said to his soldier. "Great Job!"
The soldier responded, "Master Aiden, that's the best I could do in such amount of time. But It should be enough for nine days."
Kai interfered, "It's too much; this can last for an entire month. We only need it for a week; the rest will just go to waste."
Aiden responds to Kai, "Don't worry will think of something about the rest." Aiden then said to his soldier, "You can go back to your work."
Aiden stood next to Kai and said to him, "What do you think can our horses carry this much weight."
Kai responded, "Shadow won't carry this."
Aiden responded, "But why?"
Kai didn't respond to Aiden's question. Eiera came forward and said to Aiden, "We can help."
Aiden nodded and said to Eiera, "Thank you."
Aiden walked in front of the carriage, where a hook was waiting to be attached. Aiden grabbed the hook and tried to pull the carriage, but the weight of the carriage overwhelmed Aiden.
Aiden looked around, but there were no soldiers to aid him. So, Aiden calls Kai for help, "Can you at least help me attach this thing."
Kai took a deep breath, and then he made his way towards Aiden. Kai looked at the hook and said to Aiden, "Move away."
Aiden responded, "Just what...."
Before Aiden could finish, Kai grabbed the hook with his left hand and started to drag the carriage with only one of his hands. Aiden walked back in surprise as he watched Kai effortlessly drag the carriage that he couldn't even move.
Aiden stood between Rin and Eiera, his gaze still locked on Kai. "That's the best thing about Brother. He'll always surprise anyone at any time."
Aiden said to Eiera while admiring Kai's strength, "I think he hates me."
Eiera quickly responded, "You Think!"
Kai dragged the carriage to the horses. He attached the carriage hook to Aiden's Horse Raven and Eiera's Rin's Horse Starlight.
Kai walked over to his horse, Shadow, and mounted it. He looked down and said, "Let's go! We are already behind schedule."
