Kai took a deep breath upon hearing the word Eclipse Arcana from King Cedric. He leaned back in his chair and said, "Before you continue any further. I got a few questions which I need answers first."
King Cedric observed Kai for a moment before responding. "You may ask your questions."
Kai locked his eyes with King Cedric and asked, "First of all, what is this Eclipse Arcana you speak of?"
"I have to start from the beginning," King Cedric replied.
"Twenty-six years ago, our realm wasn't divided into six Kingdoms. Three was one singular Kingdom known as Astra." King Cedric began.
King Cedric continued, "Our King was the strongest magician in the entire realm. His name was Asta. He was the original wielder of Eternal Blade. He and his queen, the Arcane Empress, and his brother Rage protected our realm from every possible threat."
"Our King and Queen lead our realm towards peace. While Rage protected our realm from the shadows, he was a silent Guardian of our realm." King Cedric elaborated.
"Everything was going perfectly. We were happy with our lives, but one day, a portal opened in the center of our realm, leading to the Dark Realm. That's when we saw the Eclipse Arcana for the first time. The leader of the Dark realm wielded the Eclipse Arcana. The war lasted for months. Our realm soldiers and mythical creatures joined forces to fight the Dark realm magicians and monsters. Our leader, King Asta, led the war in the Dark Realm and emerged victorious. He sealed the leader of the Dark Realm and also obtained the Eclipse Arcana." King's Cedric voice was heavy with the weight of history.
King Cedric said, "King Asta entrusted Eclipse Arcana to his brother. He told everyone that the power of Eclipse Arcana is too dangerous it must be destroyed."
King Cedric continued solemnly, "But Rage's mind was corrupted by the power of Eclipse Arcana. Rage consumed by the power of Eclipse Arcana betrayed and Killed his own brother."
Kai finally spoke, "What happened to the Queen."
King Cedric responds with a heavy sorrow, "Rage Killed her and her daughter, the rightful heir of King Asta's throne."
"What happened to Rage?" Kai inquired.
King Cedric responded, "He Got What He Deserved! The power of Eclipse Arcana was too much for him. He turned into dust."
Kai inquired further, "What happened to Eclipse Arcana?"
King Cedric replied with a serious tone, "As the host of Eclipse Arcana had died, it shattered into six pieces and disappeared into our realm."
Kai's eyes gleamed in anger as he said, "You divided his Kingdom into pieces and made yourself King."
King Cedric responded, "We had no other option. We six kings, you see now, were the six advisors of King Asta. After his death, the kingdom required a leader, but no one was qualified, so we did what was necessary."
Kai, trying his best to calm his anger, "You! had no rights to divide his kingdom into pieces."
"We did what was necessary," King Cedric continued. "Now, do you have any further questions."
Kai asked another question, "Why look for Eclipse Arcana now? After so many years."
"Do you really think we would let our King's death go to waste? We six Kings formed an alliance every year. We sent our best men to locate the lost Eclipse Arcana, but no one ever returned. The last group we sent was a year ago, the last message we received from them. That they had located one piece of Eclipse Arcana in Verdantia Jungle, but no further message after that." King Cedric Replied.
"When we had lost all of our hope. We received information about you, The man who cannot be Killed, The man who can't use magic, and no magic affects him, The man who wields the Eternal Blade. The strongest weapon in the Entire Astra. So, I made a plan to lure you into my Kingdom." King Cedric explained.
Invisible Luna, outside the chamber's door, heard everything. Luna said to herself, "I must tell Eiera everything." As Luna spoke, she flew to Eiera, her wings flapping urgently.
Kai heard everything the King Cedric had to say, "So, what am I getting in return."
King Cedric's eyes widened as he heard Kai's word. "You are seriously asking for payment when the entire realm is at stake. How could you do that?"
Kai said, "You want me to risk my life and bring Eclipse Arcana for you. and get nothing in return."
