As the soldiers and Aiden left, the villagers approached Kai. The villagers spoke, "Sorry for being late."
Kai responded, "It doesn't matter anymore."
Hiroshi spoke up, "Are they going to come back?"
"Don't worry, I'll take care of him," Kai assured the villagers about their safety.
Villagers nodded in response and went back to do their daily tasks. Kai looked around, and he saw Rin, Luna, and Eiera standing at a close distance. Eiera staring at him with fierce eyes, her expression intense and unwavering.
Eiera shouted at Kai, "Come Here!"
Kai hesitated to move any closer to Eiera. Eiera shouted again, "Kai, Come Here At Once!" Her voice sharper and more furious than before.
Kai had no option but to walk towards Eiera. As he was approaching, Rin gently and nervously spoke to Eiera, "Please, calm down."
Eiera didn't respond to Rin, her focus and fury still directed at Kai. As Kai approached, Eiera spoke, "What Do You Think You Were Doing, Standing Still As An Attack Approaches You!" Her voice filled with fury.
Kai responded, "It..."
Before Kai could finish, Eiera asked another question to Kai. "And Why Were You Fighting Them Alone, Couldn't You Have Called Us!"
Kai responded, "I..."
Eiera interrupted Kai again and asked another question. "And Why Were You Even Fighting!"
Kai finally raised his voice, "LET ME SPEAK!" He took a breath and continued, "Luna told me to fight. Ask her."
After Hearing Kai's words, Eiera turned her fierce gaze to Luna. Luna immediately flew behind Rin, seeking refuge from Eiera's fury.
Eiera spoke, "Step aside, Rin," her voice filled with fury.
Rin stepped aside, revealing the nervous Luna. Eiera yelled at Luna, "How dare you bring Kai into a fight."
Kai intervened, "You can scold her as much as you want, but remember, we have to go to the King's castle in a few hours."
Eiera responded, "OK!"
Kai started to walk off, and as he was leaving, he said, "Rin, do you want to come or see Luna being scolded?"
Rin immediately responded, "Yes!" and ran to join Kai.
Luna spoke as Kai was leaving, "Kai, don't leave me with her."
Eiera spoke with an evil grin on her face, "You're with me, Luna."
A few hours later, Kai, Rin, Eiera, and Luna stood in front of the golden gates of the castle. Kai, wearing his mask and equipped with his Eternal Blade.
The castle guards slowly opening the gates, while Eiera spoke to Kai. "I didn't know you really meant to visit the castle."
Kai responded, "Well, I did made a promise."
As the golden gates opened, Kai and his friends attempted to enter the castle. However, the castle guard stopped Kai by placing his hand on Kai's chest and said, "Stop right here."
Kai glanced down at the guard's hand on his chest, his expression tense with restrained anger. Before he could react, Rin quickly grabbed Kai's hand, calming his anger and preventing rash actions.
A group of guards appeared in front of Kai's group. Kai stated firmly, "Your dear prince has called us. So move."
The guards replied, "We know, but we have to search for any weapons you carry."
Kai nodded in acknowledgment, "Very well."
He pulled out the Eternal Blade, and the guards responded. "Hand your sword to us."
Kai smirked and casually tossed the Eternal Blade towards the guards. However, the toss was unexpected, and the blade landed on three guards. The sudden weight of the blade caught the guards off guard, causing them to stumble and fall under its weight.
The guards struggled under the weight of the blade, Eiera, Rin, and Luna couldn't help but laugh at the guards condition.
Kai, unfazed, moved towards the guards and effortlessly lifted the blade, freeing the guards.
As he lifted the sword, Kai spoke solemnly, "This sword can only be wielded by the person I chose." With a deliberate motion, Kai carefully placed the blade aside on the ground.
The guards, still recovering from the unexpected weight of the blade, stuttered, "You...You..Can..Go!" The guards allow Kai to enter the castle.
With permission granted, Kai entered through the castle gates, leaving his group behind.
Eiera stepped forward. After seeing her, one guard whispered in another guard's ear. "Sir, She's the one who assaulted Master Aiden. She's the reason. He is injured."
The other guard responded confidently, "Don't worry, just follow my lead."
As the guards conversation ended, all the guards surrounded Eiera by forming a circle around her.
