After hearing Hiroshi's words, a somber silence, and everyone felt a deep sense of sadness.
Noticing the sadness on everyone's faces, Hiroshi quickly wiped away his tears and forced a smile behind his pain. "I have told you everything about me, but I only know your names. Can you tell me how all of you met?"
Luna flew onto Hiroshi's shoulder and said, "It's a long story, but I'll tell you the short version."
Hiroshi looked at Luna, his mind buzzing with curiosity as he said. "Please, tell me."
Luna cleared her throat and began, "Long ago, someone powerful sealed me in a curse and left me to die. For years, I waited for someone to release me. One day, a young man came and broke the curse. That's it, that's my story."
Hirohsi's curiosity piqued as he asked, "Who saved you? Who broke the curse?"
Luna replied, "It was Kai. After that day, Kai and I became friends, and I decided to join Kai on his journey."
After Luna finished her story, Eiera stepped forward. She grabbed a chair and sat in front of Hiroshi.
Hiroshi looked up at her expectantly, "My story is quite longer than Luna's, but I'll keep it short."
Eiera began her story, "I'm from the Kingdom of Verdantia. There was a little boy of your age who used to live near my village with his uncle."
Eiera continued her story, "That boy was always training with his uncle for years his uncle trained him. One day, in the middle of the night, a monster kidnapped me. But that boy saved me from the monster. After that, we became friends, but our friendship didn't last long since that boy left Verdantia with his uncle a few months later."
Hiroshi said, "That boy was Brother Kai, right?"
Eiera smiled softly and nodded. "Yes," She confirmed.
Hiroshi leaned in, intrigued. "What happened after that?"
Eiera's eyes shimmered with memories as she responded. "Years later, Kai came back. This time, I joined him on his journey."
Eiera concluded, "That's all. That's my story."
After Hiroshi listened to Eiera's story, he turned his gaze towards Rin with curiosity, wondering about her story.
Rin, catching Hiroshi's gaze, spoke up. "My story is I'm Kai's sister. I've been with him since the day I was born."
Hiroshi nodded, understanding Rin's statement. Eiera glanced at Hiroshi with concern. "It's pretty late. You should head home before your mother realizes you're gone."
Hiroshi nodded, acknowledging Eiera's advice. He stood up from the chair and began to walk towards the door of the room.
Just as Hiroshi was about to leave, Eiera called out, "And I'll talk to Kai about your training!"
As Hiroshi heard Eiera's words, his face lit up with joy. He turned around and said, "Thank you!" before rushing off to his home.
Eiera, Rin, and Luna also decided to leave Kai's room. EIera exits first, followed by Luna, leaving Rin alone for a moment. As she was about to leave, Rin turned around and looked back at Kai, who was sleeping peacefully with his body fully covered by the blanket.
A soft smile graced her lips as she whispered, "Sleep well, Brother," Before quietly leaving the room, closing the door behind her.
Eiera, Rin, and Luna stood outside of the room. Eiera turned to Luna with a furrowed brow. "You said Kai had called us, but he was sleeping," Eiera said.
Luna immediately flew behind Rin. Taking refuge, she peeked out and said, "Kai called us, but it took us an hour to reach him. Maybe he got tired of waiting and went to sleep."
Luna whispered into Rin's ear, "Save me."
"I'm not a part of this," Rin said and stepped out of their way. Rin continued, "I'm too tired of this. I'm going to sleep."
