"Well, boys might as well get to our rooms so we can unpack and get to having fun." Said Clayden as they started to walk to the upstairs of the cruise where the residence quarters were located. As they walked Kymani stopped for a second looking off into another room. "Dude, what are you looking at?" Toby said walking back to him, as he stood where Kymani was he looked in the same direction and saw a girl. She was wearing a white uniform which meant she worked on the cruise, she had blonde hair and was rather short. She looked over towards Toby and Kymani, their eyes widened as they saw the prettiest pair of sky-blue eyes. Their jaws dropped, and never seeing a girl so beautiful in their lives, she walked toward them while they were just staring. Confusingly she walked past them with a weird look on her face like she saw a couple of weirdos, which she did. Jonathan walked back towards them in a frustrated manner, "So, y'all gonna get a move on or are you just gonna stare and creep women out all day?" He muttered irritably. Toby and Kymani looked at him about to make a smartass response, but the look in Jonathan's eyes silenced their thoughts forcing them to abide and go to their room.
Finally, in their room, they started unpacking, putting all their clothes in the small amount of space they had at their disposal. "Well let's address the elephant in the room, there are 5 of us and 4 beds." James said examining the room very thoroughly, "well this was all we could afford despite all of us saving up for a year" Toby replied. The boys all took turns looking at each other, knowing one of them would have to sleep on the floor but didn't want to volunteer for the task. "Whatever, I can sleep on the floor so y'all can sleep on beds." Jonathan blurted out, surprising the rest of the boys, they all agreed and continued to unpack their bags. "Ok, once we get done unpacking I think we should go to the restaurant here and eat some grub," Toby said, excited to even the thought of food, especially because the cruise had an all-you-can-eat buffet on board. The rest of the boys with the thought of food quickly finished their unpacking, they all headed to the deck level of the ship where the all-you-can-eat buffet was.
As they started getting closer their mouths watered at the thought of all the types of food there could be, from lobster tails paired with gourmet shrimp to medium rare wagyu steak imported from Japan. These thoughts of food made Jonathan jittery and as the thought of eating seafood overwhelmed him, suddenly he started sprinting full speed towards the cafe. Quickly running he became out of sight from the others, "damn, I guess he was that hungry" Kymani stated, as they walked. "Well if I could run that fast I'd be sprinting too," Toby remarked as he held his arm waving it around watching the chub wiggle, clearly causing his attitude to change. "Hey man, if I could sprint I'd also be there but my lame little twig legs make it to where if I tried to run they would snap, in half," Clayden said attempting to cheer Toby up from the small depressive state he put himself in, in this attempt the other boys also attempted at cheering them up giving their excuses for not running either. "Well I'm just too tall to run right now," Kymani said, "yeah and I can't run because when I was walking my goldfish I fell on grass and broke my thumb." James said in a joking manner hoping to get laughs out of the others but instead, they just looked at him staying completely silent. "Hey thanks guys, You all always know how to cheer me up, except James, that was an awful attempt," Toby said, then turning his head slowly to face James with a slight smirk on his face.
By this time they were at the cafe doors but didn't see Jonathan so they assumed he was already inside at a table, all four of them reached out their hands with smiles on their faces. They grabbed the door handle and all of them humming in unison in a happy tone, they opened the door.
That wouldn't open, not letting it get their spirits down they tried pushing the door and it still wouldn't budge, the smiles from their faces quickly left as they started to slightly panic from within. "It's locked you know" a voice stated behind them, they all turned only to see the same worker girl from earlier, immediately Kymani and Toby changed their faces to seem cooler, looking at her and saying "Sup". Clayden and James just confusingly turned their heads towards them, "sorry about those two, why is it locked by chance?" James said, trying to find answers as to why they couldn't indulge in a nice lunch.
"Because we don't have anything ready, you should always know that on the first day cruises don't have food ready," she said with an awful attitude and a disgusting look on her face like she was talking to idiots, which she was. She turned around in disgust only to turn to a larger figure than herself, she looked up at the figure and saw pretty green eyes, "and who are you" she stated trying to keep her tough guy act on. "Yeah, guys I found out it was locked and just went to the tourist shop and got snacks, I got some for you guys too!" Jonathan said completely ignoring the girl, as he distributed the snacks to the guys she got angry for being ignored and aggressively turned and walked away muttering incomprehensible things. "Dude why did you ignore her when she was trying to talk to you?" Toby said in a confusing tone, "because she was mid" Jonathan responded. "YOU CALL THAT MID?" Kymani yelled aggressively as he found her attractive, "I'm not gonna argue about this man, let's just go explore the boat," Jonathan said while avoiding an intense argument with Kymani and Toby as he had been through this before and knows how aggressive they could get.
They all reluctantly agreed and split up into two groups to divide and conquer, Kymani, Toby, and Clayden would explore one side of the cruise while Jonathan and James explored the other half. "Alright they got us, the double j's, the jj, the j team in a group," Jonathan said to James as they started going to their side of the boat. James looked at him with no expression on his face. "Listen, I've heard you say many things, but if you say some stupid shit like that again I'm gonna slap you." James said with evident aggression to his tone, "All alright starting this adventure off smooth with light threats" Jonathan responded. "No no not threats promises" James quickly stated after Jonathan stopped talking. They looked at each other and just chuckled as they kept walking
