Chapter 2 - 2

Aria Crystal

I was sitting in the caged room that had been set for me in the mansion of Mr Agasthya. The ruthless man with whom my life had been tied forever.

It happened a year ago when I was wedded to him. Dressed in a white wedding gown, he vowed to make my life hell.

Tomorrow was our first anniversary and he was doing everything to celebrate it. Although I don't share love with him but world should know that he immensely loves me.

Daksh Damani Agasthya, whose title I never added in my name, whose existence was merely in the paper and in reality, he was my husband but I never became his wife.

Meher, the daughter of the housemaid, named Adya, arrived with a message that Daksh was waiting for me in the breakfast table. I got up and took my satchel and went downstairs.

My loving husband stood in front of the glass window and stared outside. His hands were inside his pocket and his microphone in the ear was on, appeared to me like he was talking to someone and the moment I arrived he cut the phone and turned to look at me.

"I was waiting for you so long." He came and kissed my temple. I ignored and passed as usual and dragged a chair and sat. Meher brought the food and tabled it. She served us and when Daksh hinted, she peacefully walked out.

"I told you to wear those heels I bought from Dubai, seems like you forgot?" He said while taking his place opposite me.

"I haven't" My cold eyes looked at him. "Perhaps you forgot to see the leg swelling."

"That's nothing. It will go away once you are habituated." He replied mercilessly and no doubt, I have molded myself to adapt to his remorseless answers.

His love is very unique, beastly but not beautiful, he cares in the dark, leaving bruises on my body, he shows his admiration in closed doors and I have to just bear it.

Daksh Damani, my dearest husband, once I thought to be as 'dearest' was now a critter, an animal and I was his playing tool.

My freedom was lost when I married him. He became my curse, my insanity.

Daksh and I met during an advertisement shoot of his campaign. I was hired to become a model for his wine distribution. Enamoured by my beauty, my fame, my character and true accomplishments, he asked for me and then we tended to meet occasionally and spend time together.

My modelling career had brought immense glory but when I and Daksh were seen in public together, my glory rose to different heights. I became a top-notch model.

In the initial days, Daksh treated me like a Princess. He showed me plenty of love but moments after my marriage , I came to know I was like a prize for him cuffed in auction and he wanted to win me.

Not only that, Daksh over exaggerated love became a nightmare for me. Sometimes he would show anger and irritation when ever I signed for a modelling shoot. Because of him, I had to decline ample opportunities and due to this I also lost getting any future shoot offers.

Daksh is authoritative. Putting a lot of restrictions in my life, he wants me to be obedient as a wife.

His nature is cold and bloody to all and towards me, he became a controlling freak. He cannot tolerate even if someone looks at me and he would go any extent to kill that person. He will not think even for a second moment but shoot.

He loves to intimidate me. He has set all the rules that I had to follow in order to make him happy. And if I disobey, he would submit to violence.

I knew this was my fate forever and I had to accept it all diligently.

" Jaiden will escort you to the mall along with some men"

"I don't think I need to go to a mall" I answered. "I have many dresses."

"I know you must have." He replied, "But you don't have the color I wanted your wear. I have told Jaiden and all you must do is to look elegant the coming grand evening.

Finishing our meals, Daksh rose to pick his document and Meher bought a jacket.

"I didn't ask." I said as she handed me. Meher looked at Daksh and bowed down her head.

"I certainly know you didn't ask. But as a husband, its my duty to care for you."

Meher went inside the kitchen he flipped the jacket in the air and put it on my shoulders.

"You must know I do not appreciate this color on you. But you keep on defying me. Red represents a sign of danger and I cannot bear to see my beautiful wife in an attire furnished with this red, bloody color."

"Pathetic," I told looking at him, " What more danger I can have if you are written in my life."

He grinned rashly and when I crossed him, he held my hand, preventing me from going, "Aria… we are to celebrate a day tomorrow and you still have not learned to show me some love."

He said and dragged me close to his chest. Leaning his lips on me, he kissed me not out of love but to claim that I was his wife and he had a right.

Jaiden and I sat in my personal Mercedes and others sat separately in their cars. He drove and took me to a mall. Although I was physically inside a mall, I was still bound by his orders. No matter what I like or love, Daksh had restricted me to not buy anything that he despised.

When I was selecting an outfit for tomorrow's event, I chose a gown which was plain white and little shimmery glitters all over, I liked the appearance but Jaiden stopped me to buy it.

"You know I cannot do Madam…" He said softly.

"And you know ….I don't like to follow orders. I will buy what I like ." I said angrily took that dress and straight went to the counter. But I was stopped in middle by the body guards.

"Madam, we are instructed. I request you to please listen to Jaiden."

It made me angry, very angry and I walked out furiously. They followed me but I just ran to avoid the, At least I need some space from this hellish life. I ran and swiftly entered a lift. I pushed a man deliberately while entering. I thought I must apologise but head to heels, I was fuming, burning and desperately wanted to just ran away. The man beside me was speaking but I was blinded by my vexation for Daksh Agaystha.
