Just as he promised, I found myself seating first class on the next plane to Russia. However, we were the only ones in the compartment, something I found odd.
Alessander read that confusion and filled me in. "I don't want other people looking at you." His answer was straight forward, but it also sounded childish and made me laugh.
I rested my head on his shoulder and clutched onto his arm. "From here on out, you'll be the only person in my life. So no need to be jealous."
"This trip to Russia... it'll be our last one. I'll make sure of that." He hardened his tone, and I could just tell that something bad would happen.
"Well of course." I smiled, nestling into his side, drowning my worries into his cologne, sharing his warmth to clear my thoughts. "We have our whole lives ahead of us to look forward to."
